I have used Absolute Heating & Air for years now, and I couldn’t be happier. Of all the techs we have had, Sheldon came yesterday and was the best. The customer experience was second to none. Sheldon was able to get our old A/C up and running at a fraction of the cost when two other companies said the unit needed to be replaced. Thank you!

Very friendly, free quote. Simple, easy to understand bids. Itemized upgrades to give you a range of options. I hired them. My situation was somewhat complex, but they still got it knocked out in a day. They showed up a few minutes early, cleaned up after themselves, tried to minimize mess while they were here, very considerate, knowledgeable. Provided recommendations for other services I was in need of. This felt like a very honest, high-quality company. I would highly recommend them to others! Very satisfied.

We had Jensen Martinez the tech come to our house. We set up a time slot and he was perfectly on time unlike some other companies where they show up late or never at all. He was clean cut, professional, knowledgeable, very detailed with telling us with what he was doing. He told us information about our systems and as new homeowners we had no idea. He told us what we needed and we didn’t feel pressured to buy but we did exactly like he said as he was honest and reliable. He took his time and left. He was awesome great job Absolute air for hiring upstanding individuals for your company, because of employees like him your company will last forever. Next time we need service we will always go with your company.

Anthony and Dave are the best in the biz. Prompt, courteous, and fair. Anthony goes out of his way to educate you on things you can do on your own to keep things running and in good shape. He’s truly a joy to work with and I can’t recommend him enough. Emergency situations can be stressful but they’re made more bearable with a good team who’s there to help you out. Thanks guys!

Rude, unprofessional and incompetent at booking appointments. Yesterday I made an appointment via their Facebook advertisement phone number, speaking to a live person. I also got a text message from Brian soon after, asking if I had any questions and do I want an appointment. I replied that I already had just scheduled an appointment. The appointment was for 2 pm today. Nobody showed up. When I called their office, the young woman Kori answering the phone kept telling me she had no appointment for me today “because you scheduled through Home Depot”. I kept telling her I did NOT schedule through Home Depot and she kept complaining that I had scheduled through Home Depot, then hung up on me the third time I told her I had NOT scheduled through Home Depot. Meanwhile I got text messages from Brian at Absolute Air asking me to call or text for an appointment and also then a text from Kori asking me to call so they can schedule an appointment “because I do see you submitted your details via Facebook so can you call so we can get you scheduled?” So I immediately called again but the same gal told me that “I just spoke with a manager and we’re not going to provide any services to you”. Now I’m reading the review by Chris M. on here and now I’m so glad Absolute Air won’t be coming to my house. He also says they “are the most unprofessional service people I ever had at my house”.

Our air conditioning became less and less effective until it was just blowing slightly cool air. I cleaned both the indoor and outdoor coils and it didn’t help. It was clear I had lost refrigerant. I called a company that had done a checkup a year or two earlier. They confirmed my suspicion. Their suggestion. – they could fix it, but it would only be temporary, costing $1,000 – $2,000. Since the system was several years old they said I should probably just replace the system. Cost to replace the a/c only? $6,000. Cost to replace the furnace and a/c (the”best” solution – it would be more efficient) – $12,500. I thanked them for the visit and they promised to send me the estimate. I couldn’t wait to get them out of my house. This is what I feared from an a/c company – the best solution is to replace the entire system. Would it be more efficient? Almost certainly, and it would probably pay for itself in 8 – 10 years. The problem is that we may move in the next 3 – 5 years, and we have a wedding to pay for this summer. The tech has been doing this so long, he actually believes the best solution for low refrigerant is a $12,500 system replacement. He’s been drinking the a/c industry Kool Aid.I called Dave at Absolute based on good Yelp reviews. I told him that I think the solution above is like needing a clutch for your car and having the mechanic tell you, “the car is several years old, so you may as well just get a new one.” If the rest of the system works, why on earth would I get a new one? He agreed. Dave was busy for several days, but he promised he would check with other people he trusted. It ended up one of his workers, Taylor, was able to come the next business day. He confirmed the problem. The solution – put stop leak into the system and recharge it. The coil and the rest of the system were fine. Total cost including a 1.5 hour visit – $450 (it would be cheaper, but my system uses the old refrigerant which has skyrocketed in cost.) It’s working great and I anticipate it will do so for several years to come.If the system is shot, or is likely to have numerous costly repairs in the next few years, sure, replace it. However, that is often not the case. These guys actually understand that often the best solution is to repair an otherwise functional system. They have a new loyal customer.
